About Julie-Ann

Julie-Ann Carroll is a primary school teacher and a children's author & Illustrator, who is passionate about promoting wellness amongst children.

A natural storyteller and a lover of all things arts & crafts, she discovered her love for writing and illustrating during her pregnancy with her youngest child, Luca. Julie-Ann's debut book 'Our Super Teacher' is dedicated to her friend & colleague Aoife Kelly, who inspired her own wellness journey and interest in mindfulness.

The book encourages children to focus on positive mental, emotional, and physical health. Julie-Ann's mission is to inspire and encourage children to become their best selves and live happy, healthy lives.
 
When she is not writing or illustrating Julie-Ann enjoys spending time at home with her husband Mark and her three beautiful children Jack, Mae & Luca. They live in County Offaly, where Julie-Ann grew up.
